I just moved to a new area and I'm on disability so technically I don't have to work, but I thought I would look for a part time job just to get out of the house and earn a little extra money.
I am so frustrated. I applied for one job on indeed and they wanted a resume (fair enough), an assessment (ok, I guess), and an automated phone interview where they ask me questions from a robot and then I have 30-60 seconds to answer. In other words they want to discriminate if I sound old or minority or just not good at phone interviews. Seriously. I refused to follow through and to their credit I was rejected less than a day later.
I've heard about the one way video interviews and those are even more blatant. God, I hate job hunting so much. I almost just want to sit around doing nothing and collecting government benefits at this point because it's just not worth it.
