Antiwork

I just stopped coming to office, have been for months. Nobody is the wiser.

Last fall during the “RTO” wave my company announced they were doing the same. I did come back initially for a few weeks, then the majority of the office that commutes downtown pressured higher ups to open a satelite office close to home for them. Now the office is basically deserted with a handful of people on my floor. Being in an office especially in my IT centered role where I'm always on teams calls/reading emails is a waste of time and resources. I always list myself as “in office” when I'm often at home and always leave the office early because fuck sitting around waiting for the “right time” to leave.
