I love having a routine and going to work to take care of tasks to help a bigger goal.

I really don’t mind work. I get good pay but I don’t love what I do. It pays for what I enjoy though. What I hate about work culture is the small talk. I hate how everyone pushes company culture, family, and so on when at the end of the day most are fake. Sure most of us make 1-2 good friends from jobs but most people really don’t care but do it to stand out, get promotions, and so on. Essentially play the game. The work force should be rewarded for their work not their social skills. Some of us just want to show up and do our tasks then go home to the people who actually value us. We don’t care about what team you think will win tonight’s game or your opinion on x,y,z. By no means am I saying you can’t have it but it’s looked…

By no means am I saying you can’t have it but it’s looked down on when you don’t entertain conversations. Wild how being chatty and gossiping can save your job more than just doing your work.
