I may be in the minority, but I enjoy company events

So during my professional career (8 years) I've worked for 3 companies. Verizon from 2014-2017, a German Tech Company (2017-2019) and my current employer US Tech Company (2019-present). Verizon I loved our team builders, we were honestly a close group at that store. Unfortunately our manager was fired because she was too close to her team, but our store events were amazing. So much drinking and having fun! The second company was a smallish 150 (4 in the US) company. Every month our CFO would visit for a week and he'd take our team out for drinks and food. The Germans can party let me tell you. The entire leadership got hammered at that Christmas party. My current company has about 25 people, half in our city. And our leadership likes to take us out for drinks and food once a month. We also do events like escape rooms, axe…

My current company has about 25 people, half in our city. And our leadership likes to take us out for drinks and food once a month. We also do events like escape rooms, axe throwing etc. We work mostly remote so we don't see each other much.

I honestly block off my calendar for company stuff but that's probably also because my company pays for it all too. Some of y'all's companies really suck lol!
