I might get fired tomorrow.

Like the title says. I work at a credit union in Florida and the manager demanded via email that I work a closing shift to cover another employee tomorrow, even though I’m opening the very next day after that. No consideration for my time or willingness to accommodate; nothing. I received this email 15 minutes before my shift ended today, and I replied back 10 minutes later stating that I already have obligations to attend to during that shift. I still haven’t heard anything back yet. They said it was already scheduled, but I received no notification from our scheduling software that stated my shift was altered. I have been flexible and accommodating every time they asked me to cover a shift, but I’m drawing the line this time because the way it was presented was disrespectful and petty.
