To be fair I get paid an okay salary, not a big one but definitely okay. However as my workplace is in the capital I also live in the capital. And living alone in the capital in expensive as hell.
The building I work in has an eatery and the employees pay very little to eat there as the company takes on most of the cost (I pay approx 2 USD/day). A couple of months ago I decided to see if there was any way I can save a bit more money with everything costing more. So I decided since I’m not getting an increased salary due to inflation I’m gonna get the most out of my lunches. So now i eat some of the office fruit in the morning (breakfast saved) and I’ll lunch late and take an extra portion of food. That way I can get away with eating less in the evening.
Anyways, I guess I just want to say get the most out of what you can get from your employer to reduce your own living cost!
