Antiwork

I never knew this was a thing. Now, I feel I’ve been pretty naive.

A while ago, one of my supervisors had told me about how the interviewing supervisors, for new hires, are always on alert, for what he referred to as a “salt”. Fast forward to this past Tuesday, and there was a co-worker in a non-work-related chat, that said he was being called into an impromptu meeting with his supervisor. He thought he was being written up, or possibly even fired.

He returned, and said that the meeting had nothing to do with that.

I know unions have their own issues, but it was kind of an eye-opener, yet not surprising, all things considered.
