having hopes and dreams i joined the workforce
it’s not that we don’t want to work anymore.
i shaved off every inch of my bones to get into the direction i want to be.
it’s not that i’m lazy or anything
we’re tired of the “hustle culture”, the lies, the elitism, and favoritism.
we’re tired of the unequal pay between women and men, the new hire hazing, the verbal abuse, and the narcissism.
we’re tired of destroying our self worths, our hopes, our ambitions, our personalities.
i’m tired of seeing my boss roll up to work in his premium brand new cadillac while he’s underpaying teenage girls.
i’m tired of destroying my health for my “family” just for them to consider terminating me due to “performance”
i figured that it was just me, maybe i’m the problem. but hearing stories from around the world made me realize
this is why “nobody wants to work anymore”.
