There was a huge covid situation that wasn't being handled well. The 14 hour days were a lot but being gaslit by my employer during a meeting with the whole staff threw me over the edge. They danced around every question and refused to budge on their stances. I knew I was quitting so I threw fucking punches and told them i would ask the same question until they answered it. The meeting let out and a coworker stayed back for me and I quit on the spot. Felt so fucking good. Fuck them. I hope me being relentless about getting a fucking straightforward answer or game plan helps my coworkers I left behind. That part feels so bad. But it feels good to be done with that job.
Ah. Feels alright.
