I climbed cell phone towers for about 3 years, would’ve been 4 in Nov, but today just felt different.. tried to turn in my two weeks but was just told to go home.
I hated how I’ve been treated as of late, cut pay checks, pointless berating, talked to like I’m not even a human, much less fuckin family.
It’s been like that for years, and the company we work under (contract work) always slacks on paying us on time. I know my dad and uncle are under a FUCK LOAD of pressure always and it hurts that I can’t help them. I’m just tired man, about a year and some change ago, I was in an accident and my back was never the same.
Realistically I pushed myself as far as I could go with them but as stated in a past post of mine, the whole work dynamic is now awkward at best.
I hope to find work in another area of telecom as I have a considerable amount of field experience to apply to the job.
