I quit my job earlier than I was planning to

I had been asking for months to have my rest days on and around my birthday because I had something planned. They did nothing about this, and berated me on the work floor about stuff that was my colleague doing, while we would never ever meet. I got sick. I handed a sick note. When I talked about my request they implied that I just took those sick days to play hookey, so I quit. On the day before my last day, I was called a complainer, so I finished up my tasks and left them hanging the next day. They are asking me for my uniform back, yet they decided to skip paying me for the 4 additional hours and kept on telling me that they wouldn't pay me for my early hours, as they weren't a charity. I did try to give them the benefit of the doubt…

I did try to give them the benefit of the doubt but really, cooks and dishwashers in my country get talked to like trash while the waiting staff is talked to like normal people.

We all are people. We should be considered as such.

Oh and the entitlement of that person for telling me that she had to do my work on the slowest day of the month in a “woe is me” way was hilarious.

I am glad it happened.
