I’ve been at this awful job (in Texas) for 3 months and I can’t take it anymore. I am a mom of two small kids and I used to be a sahm. I got the job for some extra income to help out my husband and our family and I’m also going to school full time. We just got to a point where my husband and I decided maybe it’s just best I go back home with the kids (the youngest is 3).
Here’s the thing. I don’t even want to put in my two weeks because I need to time it out to cover daycare costs that I also need to put two weeks in for. I don’t want them to just let me go while I’m still in my two weeks. So I really want to just not show up/text them that I quit. They treat their employees horrible and I don’t think they deserve anymore explanation. What are the ramifications of this?
