I refused the company’s offer to provide me with a company phone. Glad I did

I’ll stick to my personal phone only, thanks. No 1) no, I don’t want you monitoring my communications and/or internet use, ever No 2) no, I don’t want to leave all my business contacts I’ve made while I’ve had the phone with you when you force me to quit and/or fire me No 3) work life balance becomes much more difficult on weeknights and weekends. Made this mistake once, about 5 years ago. Burned bigtime in no 1-3. Haven’t repeated it since. If it’s not a job requirement, no thanks! Same with a company laptop.
