I resigned yesterday and it felt really great

Yesterday I informed my boss that I was resigning, and he didn’t take it too well My boss is a menace for a few reasons: 1) he sends us to attend meetings that he’s supposed to attend while saying he has more important stuff to attend to, then claiming it’s good exposure for us. The meetings are often with other team managers so we are out of our depth. 2) he forces our team to be working on office throughout the pandemic, while he works from home since the start of the pandemic 3) we often receive sarcastic remarks from him over work matters, and those remarks are personal at times and affect the team morale 4) he doesn’t know what the team actually does and he is just a messenger to direct work to us. Yesterday I informed my boss that I was resigning, and he didn’t take it too well

My boss is a menace for a few reasons:
1) he sends us to attend meetings that he’s supposed to attend while saying he has more important stuff to attend to, then claiming it’s good exposure for us. The meetings are often with other team managers so we are out of our depth.

2) he forces our team to be working on office throughout the pandemic, while he works from home since the start of the pandemic

3) we often receive sarcastic remarks from him over work matters, and those remarks are personal at times and affect the team morale

4) he doesn’t know what the team actually does and he is just a messenger to direct work to us. Every issue relating work – he does not know how to handle

5) he is a clock manager

I felt really good after I told him I was leaving. He was really salty about it and I thanked him anyway for everything he has “done” for me and the team. I have a month from now my actual last day with the company and I’m just gonna do the bare minimum and get through it.
