I run a restaurant, I honor all schedule requests, in turn my people are happy and come to work.

I can't wrap my head around egotistical managers sabotaging their own schedules because their team needs time off by outright terminating them. Bottom line, know your worth. Just know if you were my team, I would take great care to keep you all happy.
