I set up a Calendly account with a paywall to deter shitty recruiters.

Several times over the past month, I’ve received unsolicited messages from recruiters (both from recruitment agencies and who work for companies directly) on LinkedIn, taken assessments, gone through multiple interviews, only to either get rejected or ghosted. It’s absolutely awful that they would reach out, and then leave me hanging. I mean, THEY reached to ME for my expertise. Obviously nobody is ever going to pay the fee, I’m just petty and jaded as fuck. And I only do this for bad jobs/companies. If it’s a potentially good place to work, I be happy to talk to them free of charge.
