I've been working for this company for 2 years now, this company has had its ups and downs internally, I've stuck around and worked hard so that they could see that I am in this for the long haul. But as of lately the work has faded and management has gone down hill, so I found a job opportunity and told them about it.
Now, they told me “we don't want you to leave” “here take this 2 dollar raise, we need you and respect you” and I fell for it… I stayed and thought “damn these people must like me”
Then, for the past 3 weeks my supervisor that was one of my really good friends just switched to this child that won't say one word to me, will favor other employees and give work to them over me affecting my pay, also talk shit behind my back to my friends at work? And he is in a management position so he has power over me.
I have no idea what I did to him to treat me like this? All I want is to work and get paid, I get paid flat rate so I rely on work getting handed out and he is favoring other employees. I don't really know what else to do other than quit. I feel bad for the company because I enjoy everyone and for the most part I enjoy the work, but this one guy will not talk to me and won't stop making every day hell just because, what, I wanted to make more money for my family? I wanted a consistent paycheck? I hate that I wasted my time staying and i could be happier somewhere else.
