I just need somewhere to vent, I feel defeated.
I was laid off 2 days ago from my position within a real estate brokerage. The owner did a bunch of shady shit, defrauded investors of 100 Million and now has the SEC on his ass, As a result, a bunch of us were laid off because SURPRISE, there's no money!! The market conditions just made it worse. So I've been applying a bunch of places even if the jobs were a downgrade, because I need to eat and so do my children.
I was called back for an interview at a Chevy dealership doing sales. I showed up and they had me take a seat. 20 minutes go by and a guy tells me that they had no idea I was coming and asked me to show him confirmation of my interview so I do. He then proceeds to tell me that it's because Indeed didn't notify them. (This is when I should have had some dignity and left…but I am desperate.) He then asks me to complete an application via their website and I do. Another 20 minutes go by and this guys comes back to tell me that he's sorry but everyone is too busy and if they are interested they will call me, ( I know I dodged a bullet, this place was a shit show.)
I wasted so much time getting ready, and waiting and I am so fucking mad and sad and frustrated all at the same time, I gave 3 years of my life to a company that didn't give a fuck. I trusted them when they swore everything was fine. FUCK WORK, FUCK CAPITALISM, FUCK MY OLD JOB, and FUCK CHEVY TOO.
