The law here is that, if you work 6+ hours, you get a 20 minute uninterrupted break. My manager doesn't wanna have 2 people working at once, so I run the shop alone most days. For 8 hours, without a break, because I can't shut the shop for a 20-minute break. That would hurt business, somehow!
Well, today's the last day of my 2-week notice, so I thought “fuck it”. Once I was done with the stock check, I grabbed my jacket, locked the door and fucked off for 20 mins. And now I'm back, I'm stealing time by posting this on Reddit.
