After working at Waffle House and slowly being radicalized, mid-pandemic, insane hours, base pay well below minwage and hardly enough tips to feed myself outside of work after my shift was changed to second, I've pretty much become a radical.
I've always been a leftist, but these sorts of things just drive me nuts. So my new hobby has become working at a fast food job just long enough to basically get the whole restaurant to strike, then quitting when they need me most.
For instance, I worked at DQ for a while, they gave me shit hours and pretty much only brought me in to unload truck and sweep.
It was grueling work, and they had no sympathy for the fact that I fell down a flight of stairs in the rain and nearly broke my back/ribs. Lift those 50 pound boxes and twist… Now go home after you sweep, but only after you've done it twice and mopped three times because our cook keeps dropping fries.
So I find the employees I can radicalize, the ones who are fed up and over it, and I piss them off til they quit, or try to radicalize them so they turn other workers against the store.
Then on the next truck day, I no call – no showed.
Just one example.
My girlfriend and I have been doing this sort of shit for a while now.
