I remember being at meetings ware the managers would tell us “if you get attacked by a customer, just try to get away from them. If you hit them back, you will be terminated.”
My co workers and I looked at each other and we were like “well, looks like were gonna just loose our job.”
I work in trucking as a yard jockey at a facility. Sometimes some of these truckers loose their shit because of having to wait for their loads. It rarely happens but when it dos some of those want to pick a fight.
I keep seeing allot of videos of fast food employees getting attacked over the dumbest crap. Then they end up loosing their jobs if they dare defend themselves. It’s getting so bad I feel employees should be allowed to carry Mc.Mace or a Mc.Taser.
Some restaurants have put up protective glass or something like its a bank. I think that new Taco Bell with the second floor that has no human interaction was not done because of covid, but because it keeps employees from getting attacked and customers from causing damage to the place itself.
I do admit though, that I really enjoy watching videos of people fighting inside of fast food restaurants. Mc.Donalds should just put fight compilations of people fighting at McDonald’s next to the menu and some in the dinning aria. I would love that.
Anyway, what do you guys think?
