Got an email from my work saying that they wouldn’t be giving us dedicated time to complete upcoming required trainings. Since we are on back-to-back calls (<15 seconds between calls), and we are tracked and flagged for “non-adherence” (times we are not on calls), the only interpretation I’m left with is that we’re expected to do it on our own time. We lose the access to do our jobs if we don’t complete the trainings.

Is this legal?? Tbh it’s only about an hour of work — about $11 after taxes — but it doesn’t seem right. (Also this is multiplied by thousands of employees, so I guess not an insignificant amount on their end)

Anyone have an resources on this? Can I report them or something? I’m in Arizona (US).

TIA.
