3 months in to a job. Someone got fired in social media shortly after I started and I had to take on all of their responsibilities by myself (along with my multiple responsibilities in my job description). Today I was going over social media stuff, and then the ceo yelled at me that what I’m posting is boring, how they’ve felt that way for weeks and repressed it, how I’m not thinking outside of the box, etc. and how we need to be less business/more fun (sorry but don’t businesses on LinkedIn post about their business?) Also, I was posting on the topics they told me to post on.
The thing is: all of these posts go through multiple channels of approval before they are posted. I’m just really disgusted at this absolutely toxic person. I took on a second job with 0 raise….
Time to find a new job. Preferably, not in corporate America.
