After working for a place where I went in on days off, worked early, stayed late, I walked out. Last week I had caught that my boss put me on a shift for an hour and a half, she thanked me over and over and was happy I caught the mistake. I was needed for a full day. Yesterday I noted we were going to be understaffed for todays shift and wondered if she could put another person on for today, as I was supposed to be organizing a baby shower for her daughter, prepping food for the restaurant, as well as bar tending/serving customers. She blew up at me and told me if I can’t handle anything here I’m probably not a good fit. She also told me I completely insulted her schedule making abilities.
So many people at that job speak poorly of the place and the owners, and I always defended them. Owner lashed out at the wrong employee for the last time. Hope they are having a great day and baby shower today without me.
