I want to forever leave corporate America but I’m stuck

The pay is what I need to cover my debt and current bills. But man, after working at my last job for almost 5 years in finance and being fired the way I was and why, I never want to go through that again. And if you don’t have money laying around to sue, you just have to deal. Throughout my employment I had gone on 2 short term disability leaves for mental health reasons (which were both approved and paid) and had taken the alotted paid grievance time for a death. Mind you, even though so much was happening in my personal life, I still came to work and put my all into it, yet my boss saw me as weak and purposely provided me less opportunities than the other employees, (during a meeting with my manager AND his boss- he admitted verbally, “I didn’t want to put too…

Mind you, even though so much was happening in my personal life, I still came to work and put my all into it, yet my boss saw me as weak and purposely provided me less opportunities than the other employees, (during a meeting with my manager AND his boss- he admitted verbally, “I didn’t want to put too much on her plate” in response to me claiming I was being discriminated against because of a disability. His boss did nothing, this continued when another opportunity to train new employees came and myself and 1 other coworker were certified for this, and he only told the other person about it. I found out when new employee and coworker were in the training room together on their first day and I wasn’t even offered the opportunity. So this sparked me to go to HR and bring up a discrimination claim. He fought it, saying my performance simply was “inconsistent.”
The last straw was me fainting at work and having to go to the hospital. This was about a week later. He was concerned about the incident report being filed properly, and if I was “going to report for my scheduled shift the next day” and I didn’t due to doctors orders.
I returned the day after that, to be called into the office and fired effective immediately for attendance. Was also informed that if you’re fired for attendance, you’re ineligible for rehire/blacklisted from any position in the company in the future. To me, this was blatant retaliation.

This is now going to potentially cause me to not land a job when that is disclosed during the background check/employment verification. The job I’m in the interview process for has stated multiple times that what they focus most on is personality and attendance. So once my prior employer disclosed I was fired for attendance, this opportunity will be ripped from me.
