I want to leave my company for the client

I don't know if this is the reddit for this post, sorry For context, I work at a clientele based technology job in the boonies. I like the people at my company and are friends with a lot of them, but I just discovered recently that the job I have now pays almost 3x what I'm making now at this company. I've tried looking around on job searching websites such as indeed, and even looking at specific company sites for openings in my line of work. Not a single open position… At this point, I am very tempted to try and work for my client directly, but am unsure how to go about it. I know if I ask the client themselves, I'd probably get fired, and if I asked the people I'm close with who work under the client, I'd very likely get fired. I've been with this client…

For context, I work at a clientele based technology job in the boonies.

I like the people at my company and are friends with a lot of them, but I just discovered recently that the job I have now pays almost 3x what I'm making now at this company. I've tried looking around on job searching websites such as indeed, and even looking at specific company sites for openings in my line of work.

Not a single open position…

At this point, I am very tempted to try and work for my client directly, but am unsure how to go about it. I know if I ask the client themselves, I'd probably get fired, and if I asked the people I'm close with who work under the client, I'd very likely get fired.

I've been with this client for over 2, almost 3 years, and have access, training, and fluidity to many of their systems, and am praised every day for my work. So I know what I would be doing for them, and am willing to take on more work than I'm doing now.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to go about this?
