I started interviewing at new shops after realizing how badly I was being paid. After two weeks and three interviews, I received my first offer. I was offered nearly a 40% pay increase, two weeks prorated vacation, and an extra dollar more in travel premium. They will help me get my journeyman's card and dive deeper into robotics and PLC programming. The best part, I won't be criticized for leaving under 10-12 hour days as the mostly run 8s.
