I was contacted by a former employer with a link to a site which cleans up negative reviews.

I worked for a massive corporation and quit quite awhile ago — long enough that they shouldn’t be concerned about me. Their HR department contacted me to “review my experience” with the company and there was a shortened URL in the message that leads back to a company that cleans up negative reviews out of search results. I have been very vocal about this employer buying positive reviews on Glassdoor and their shitty treatment of staff. There are a handful of class action lawsuits against the company. My question is if this is normal or is it done kind of bs attempt by their legal department so they can claim “employees didn’t complain” or something? It just seems odd.
