NEITHER THE FIRST DAY AND NEITHER THE LAST DAY

Came home thinking about it after my first day at a new job. No, I'm not bringing a new news, a creative idea or much less ending this text by closing a subject. Came home thinking about it after my first day at a new job.

No, I'm not bringing a new news, a creative idea or much less ending this text by closing a subject. I also need to anticipate and say that I am not equalizing all the topics covered, I am asking myself why and when we defined these priorities.

We are outraged, fed up and reacting to every form of corruption. We do not support discrimination of every possible and imaginable kind. We condemn the destroyers of nature and follow habits aimed at protecting in the hope of saving it.

But my concern is: How are we facing our professional life? Yes, we need money. Due to our current economy, job offers are not enough for the nation. This I know and I am always reminded by myself and everyone around me. I would like everyone to enjoy the right to have the opportunity to be employed.

But my concern is: That's it? Is being salaried the ultimate goal? At what price? Is the minimum wage equivalent to everything you could look for in terms of living your life with quality? Does the supposed cash equivalent solve all the exploitation problems in the country's current system? Or does it not exist because our country's current system is founded on exploitation and without any objective for the well-being of a group, but of itself? When are we going to take a position similar to the ones I mentioned earlier? Recognize our class and incorporate the result of it to fight for us?

When I say exploration, I imagine that at this point I already divided judgments. I say this because I understand the normalization of all our daily sacrifices seeking to justify ourselves or transform these sufferings into glories and achievements to move forward. Don't we have another option to move forward? Do we need to be exhausted physically or mentally (sometimes both)? Spending so much time on an activity where the rest of the time you're always wishing you weren't working? It just can't be normal or “it is what it is”.

I don't know about these answers. I don't expect you to answer them either. My intention is the echo. I don't know how to answer, I know how to question and I want to act.
