Health insurance never used to be an issue for me. I rarely needed to go to the doctor, so I was usually without insurance and just paying out of pocket for yearly visits.
Now I'm stuck with my job because they provide amazing benefits. If things go wrong with my job and I can't find a job that provides similar benefits then I'm out ~$400 a month for my medication. If I'm let go then I'm doubly screwed.
I never realized until now how bullshit it is to have health insurance linked to your job. The job market is in such flux, and it's worse that your insurance can't be a constant in life no matter what your employment situation is.
