I used to work for a car audio company as an installer that is well known for treating their employees like utter garbage. I worked there five years and left when my mental health deteriorated. A friend of mine recommended tesla, as he'd been there a while and was enjoying it. The benefits are decent, and I can survive on the pay (although only just).
But after seeing everything in the news lately about Musk, it's really soured my opinion of working for that company. He's shown his true colors as just another douchebag billionaire. I feel like I just traded one shit job for another. But short of starting my own business, I really don't see any other options.
