I'll keep it brief. My first day back to work after a mental hospitalization I was instantly accused of things I did not do. A long list and my supervisor was very mean about it all. I emailed the CEO given the meeting was completely wrong, these allegations were untrue, and I was attacked during a vulnerable state at this time.
Today they fired me because they “did an internal investigation,” of my claims and fired me for lying. Is there any ground for me to file a lawsuit? I believe this was a set up to get rid of me after my hospitalization.
