I was fired behind my back from my job of almost 2 years for a scheduling mistake

I'm very angry about this. I'd been working at this local business for almost 2 years. I won't go into the specifics, but it was a business with many moving parts and I was the only one there trained in every position. In total I worked 8 different positions there, whereas every other employee worked maybe 2 at the maximum. Basically, if there were any callouts or people who needed a cover I was almost always the first person called and I really tried my best to come in if I could. Recently I got another job and cut back my hours at the first job. Despite knowing this, my GM scheduled me outside of my availability. I had a conversation, she said she got it, whatever. I also turned in my two weeks knowing this could happen again, but planned on returning to this business after busy season ended…

I also turned in my two weeks knowing this could happen again, but planned on returning to this business after busy season ended in my second job.

Last week, I checked the schedule and saw I had again been scheduled outside of my availability. Annoyed, I sent a text to my GM saying “Hey, Im scheduled outside of my availability again this week. I can't work some of those shifts, I'm at my other job.”

About ten minutes later, another employee who also just put in their two weeks called me. She had texted them and said “OP is immediately terminated and not eligible for rehire at any point. She just called out of ALL of her shifts for the week.” She then texted me and told me Monday would be my last day.

Despite people telling me not to, I came in for my last day. It was a totally disorganized shit show, but I stuck it out because I was the only one working in the department that was trained. There was a new girl working and it would have totally screwed her had I left early. Another employee told me my GM had told her before I arrived “OP probably won't even fucking show up today.” I arrived 20 minutes early for my shift.

Afterwards, my GM asked me to work again the next day because they were short staffed. I said no.
