So, I've been having bad bouts of tooth/jaw pain for the past year or so. It'll come and go incredibly randomly and it's sometimes bad enough that I end up with like 2 hours of sleep.
Anyway, it was sometimes getting in the way of work. Kinda hard to be a cashier when your entire head hurts like hell. I was calling off fairly unexpectedly because of pain I couldn't predict.
Last Thursday (6/16) I worked my shift fine and without pain. That night, I got 2 hours of sleep because of the pain, so I called off work because it also hadn't stopped. My boss/store owner texted me and said they were taking me off the schedule until my health issues improved. Fair enough.
Since being off, I've learned how bad that job really was for me. I would have pretty bad anxiety attacks almost daily, so bad I often felt like I was going to vomit. They would sometimes last for HOURS too, which was the worst.
Well, since I haven't been there in over a week now, I feel comfortable with this theory. Work was causing the anxiety even though it's a dumb easy job. I haven't had a severe anxiety attack since that Thursday.
Only big downside? How in the hell am I supposed to pay student loans now? Not that much was happening off $8.50 an hour, but still. That's more than $0 an hour.
