So turns after being put through PIP with my colleague and informing my team we had a call for the whole department from our top managers who informed us that shit load of people are getting laid off from our department and it was planned back in the middle of the year my manager just happened to be a total d*** and put me through humiliating process of me failing PIP.
I’m getting some money but in general I’m pretty f***ed. The rest of the team who wasn’t laid off is shocked and depressed and probably looking for a new job already.
Managers didn’t care about people when they were firing them they cared about total number of people. Some of them worked for 5+ years in the company.
Yet again ugly corporate machine took another sacrifice. Never trust corporations even if they look like the most friendly place on Earth
