I went to my local Circle K has station and they were closed because only one person was working and they had a mandatory break. When I inquired, she said they weren’t hiring.

She looked like she had been working all day. I have been out job hunting so I asked if they were hiring because they obviously need the help. Apparently, they aren't. They have just been working their only employee to their limit and don't want to hire anyone else. If that's how they treat their employees then maybe I dodged a bullet.
