I will never be able to afford a family

I work full time and pay for school. Even after I graduate, I'll never be able to save up enough to raise a child in a home. Even if I save the textbook amount, I would need to adopt or use IVF, which can rack up to tens of thousands of dollars just at the shot at having a child to raise. I'll never be able to afford child care (which is criminally expensive for the amount they actually put into caring for those children), never be able to buy them the things they want, never be able to put aside enough money to ensure they have a leaping-off point for whatever they want to do when they grow up. If I work full-time in a field that requires licensure and specialized degrees, I should not struggle as much as I will for the rest of my life. At this…
