Before I started working I was told “there are no scheduled shifts, take a break whenever you need one. You’ll work 8 hour shifts with one hour breaks”
When I started working I quickly realized that they give us so much work that we don’t have the option of taking a break because there’s no time for one. This is clearly intentional.
Yesterday I was stressed and tired so I decided to take a minute and text my mom, doodle a bit, just relax when my supervisor comes in and I nearly get yelled at for sitting down for 2 minutes.
This morning she put me on blast in front of all my coworkers saying “nobody should be doodling like this, if you’re doing this it shows me you have too much time on your hands” to which I said “that took me 30 seconds, am I not allowed 30 seconds?”
I’m quitting.
