I work at a debt call center ask me stuff

I’ve been working at my current job for the past 3 months, first month was amazing, it was all training, we would be in a teams meeting all day watching training videos, asking questions, basically free pay, i even got to talk to the CEO of the company one on one, It’s a WFH job so that’s good, but once we got to the actual work it was a whole different ball game, back to back calls, we have inbound and outbound, with 15 sec max inbetween calls, we’re heavily monitored, they can see our screens on top of listening to our calls, they can tap in at any moment, constant monitoring, during one of my breaks i was looking at the weather for my city, once my break was over i got a message from my manager to get off the phones and get on video chat with them,…

I’ve been working at my current job for the past 3 months, first month was amazing, it was all training, we would be in a teams meeting all day watching training videos, asking questions, basically free pay, i even got to talk to the CEO of the company one on one, It’s a WFH job so that’s good, but once we got to the actual work it was a whole different ball game, back to back calls, we have inbound and outbound, with 15 sec max inbetween calls, we’re heavily monitored, they can see our screens on top of listening to our calls, they can tap in at any moment, constant monitoring, during one of my breaks i was looking at the weather for my city, once my break was over i got a message from my manager to get off the phones and get on video chat with them, they told me that i can only use the computer for work purposes, for breaks too you can’t be more than 15 seconds late to put yourself in “ready” to take calls again, the constant micromanaging is so bad, “you can’t say that in a call” “fix your tone” “why does your voice sound groggy” “why did this call take so long to code” “why did you get to the payment screen and didn’t convince them to make the payment when they were backing out” “why did you hang up on her so quickly”, we do medical accounts so we have to verify the person from the account so we don’t violate HIPPA laws, and people always seem to view it as a scam, i get it right we’re calling you and are asking you to verify yourself, the job just sucks entirely, i’m so over it and i want to quit already. the people we call too are so nasty, if you don’t want to keep talking to me just hang up, it’s way better than hearing you call me names and treat me like shit

tldr: i work for a debt call center and i hate being micromanaged and dealing with rude people
