Not sure if this is the best place to ask but you guys seem pretty helpful on here. I started this job in mid July and it hasn't been going well so far. My boss originally told me that I would have to work 3 weeks on the road then I'd get a 2 week break at home. I asked my coworker about this and he said he usually works 30-40 days then gets a 10 day break. What makes it even worse is that we are required to work 7 days a week and we're usually working over 8 hours a day. Of course the job is salaried so no overtime pay. Even without OT the pay is good so I can see why people do it but I just don't think this job is for me.
This job is just so emotionally and physically draining. I'm thinking about quitting but I'm worried about being told that I would have to pay for my own flight home. Does anyone know if they are required to fly me back home or will I be left to my own devices?
