Not necessarily proposing we actually do this. But hear me out.
What if a bunch of us organized ourselves, like really organized ourselves around our various skillsets, pooled our assets together, and started a bunch of companies where each company is set up on a 50/50 profit-sharing model? 50% of profit evenly distributed as a regular bonus to all employees after base pay, 25% goes back into the business to help it grow, and 25% goes into a larger pool to create new similar companies?
Arbitrary numbers, not really thought out well or proposing those actual numbers. Please don't snipe me about the actual numbers, it would be some mix of those things and not actually those precise numbers. I'm not using any kind of research or background in economics to arrive at those numbers, just spitballing.
I'm thinking to get it rolling, it would be companies that could operate with fully remote positions and somehow have global employment opportunities.
Which industries would we try to disrupt first, or what kinds of companies would we create first?
