I recently got accepted in a position at a grocery chain. I am about 2 months postpartum and looking to go back part time, with a flexible schedule. It seemed like I found a good fit. Crap benefits but something to earn some money to spend on baby. I was told to come in at 4-8 to do some computer training. I show up at 3:50, find out my manager isn't there and I try to do my computer work. It wouldn't let me log on. It's now 4:15 and I still haven't heard from my manager. So I text her and she tells me she'll be in at 5. And that's it. Nothing else. I got so pissed. It would've been nice to know. So…I left. And she just now texted me asking where I am… like I'm home now. I'll be blacklisted but it's honestly not a good place to be .
