If you really hate your job, don’t forget glitter bombing is an option

So I've been seeing a lot of posts about different ways people are quitting their jobs. I thought I'd share my favorite experience. I worked for a 24 hour burger delivery place while going to cosmetology school. Before I was hired I had made clear to the manager that my school came first. I would only be in school for a year and made it very clear school came first. If they made me choose between my future career and this job, I was obviously picking my career. Management was more than okay with it and loved that I was driven to pursue a career. This whole place was a shit show. Fast forward a couple months and the Assistant manager got fired for smoking meth in a company delivery vehicle and a week or two later the general manager quit because of blatant disrespect from the district manager.
So now the district manager is at the store all the time. She was…. quite the opposite of a great person. She was WORSE than a karen. She had put a power hungry “Karen” in charge but refused to promote her assuming that or they just didn't want to pay her manager salary. At one point they begged me to come in for an overnight shift on a school night. I told them I could come help for a few hours during rush but I had to go home directly after to catch up on sleep for school.
When rush was over, “karen” threw a fit about me leaving. I pulled up the texts where she had asked me to come in, I said I could only stay for rush but that I had to go home to get sleep for school. She then starts yelling at me saying she's also going to school and that I can suck it up. I didn't say anything and just walked out to smoke a cigarette.
I'm not very witty. I had to step away and gather my thoughts. I called my mom and told her what was going on and she told me I needed to start looking for a new job.
So “karen” comes and finds me and said she thought I quit that I can't just walk out like that. I went and clocked out and explained that I wasn't even scheduled. If she was that mad about me coming in on my off time she could take it up with the district manager and went home.
So with scheduling, they ahead of time schedule you as cook, cashier or delivery driver. Everyone had to take turns unless you could not drive. For a couple weeks of being scheduled delivery and getting put on register I finally asked why we pre schedule for Cook, cashier and delivery if we didn't follow it. Genuine question. “Karen” then told me to stop being a smart ass and get back to work. I was genuinely confused and let her know. She had nothing g to say and started being very, very aggressive towards me after this.
In the next couple weeks I'm on a job hunt. The company had left me a voicemail at about 2 on a school day saying they were having an emergency meeting at 5 pm and if I was not there I would lose my job. I didn't get out of school until 8 pm. I had to talk to the school director and explain the situation. This job is how I was affording to make my monthly payments to the school. They let me go early. Nothing about the meeting was an emergency. The owner of the establishment literally just explained that he may send some of us to his other establishments. Thanks. I have to get 1500 hours at school and I know its only 3 hours, but now I have to make that time up by coming into school early or stay late.
Finally, I found a new job. The district manager pulled me aside while I was thinking of ways to tell them I was quitting. She told me she really liked how motivated I was to be at work and asked me if I would consider waiting tables at the owners favorite restaurant for a 2 dollar raise. I told her I'd think about it and get back to her.
I came in on my off day and asked one of the workers to give an envelope to management. In the envelope was a “sorry for your loss” card FILLED with very fine powder glitter. I had written “I QUIT” and the date. Never showed back up and started my new job with wonderful employees and management and even making more than what they offered me at the owners favorite restaurant.
I ran into an old coworker from the burger place a few months later and said she wished she had the balls to do something like that. She told me I was a LEGEND around there and they they still hadn't gotten all the glitter cleaned up. “Karen” and the district manager had been in the office together when they opened it and got COVERED they were PISSED.
This wasn't even close to all the wack shit that happened at that establishment, just what I thought was relevant to the story.

TLDR: a burger chain treated me like shit so instead of putting my 2 weeks in I glitter bombed them with a sorry for your loss card
