In these midterms, you have a chance to vote for Amendment 1, which would include the “fundamental right to organize and bargain collectively through representatives of their own choosing for the purpose of negotiating wages, hours, and working conditions, and to protect their economic welfare and safety at work” in the state constitution as well as prohibit any law that “interferes with, negates, or diminishes the right of employees to organize and bargain collectively.”

This would be a big win for organized labor! With the Supreme Court poised to limit the power of unions, they need all the legal protections they can get.
I know a lot of people are disillusioned with voting and/or the Democratic Party, but if Republican promises of austerity and further assaults on your rights isn't motivation enough, there's a chance to do more than lesser-evilism. You can actually vote for something good for once.
