I'm in a middle management position in a restaurant in Australia and I'm looking to better arm my staff against wage theft and illegal working conditions.
So far I've:
– told them to read this sub
– taught some of them how to check their superannuation contributions (this was inspired by discovering mine was $1200 light over 6 months)
-how to find which award they're classified under and how to check their duties against it to make sure they're being treated fairly
I've also been teaching them about unions, what they do and how to join.
Any more tips?
