Antiwork

Im a male coming to the horrifying realization of how much more dangerous our USA work culture is to females. Its bad. How do we fix it?

As a former chef/food service worker/ carpenter/ concrete worker / customer service drone (years ago), I've always known i was being exploited as a worker… Im a male, and im realizing now just how privileged I am in relation to my female coworkers, friends, family members, and fellow working class people as a whole.  My personal exploitation used to seem way worse than it seems now. Ive been through so many years of jobs with low pay, and sometimes no pay, while the boss is always asking for more. Ive had it rough, but my fiancee's recent struggles at her place of work are so much worse than i ever wanted to believe possible. My fiancee let me know the other day that her supervisor sexually exploited her. I didnt trust everything at first (to my never ending regret), because i thought (wished) she cheated on me. Ive been through so many years of jobs with low pay, and sometimes no pay, while the boss is always asking for more. My fiancee let me know the other day that her supervisor sexually exploited her. I didnt trust everything at first (to my never ending regret), because i thought (wished) she cheated on me. I wish she cheated because that would be so much less painful for her, and so much less trauma for her as well as our small family to overcome. We've been in a very muturally gratifying, loving, sensual, and intimate relationship for quite a few years now. (and for any shit posters that are going to say its her fault, were not going to deal with that because even though this is the internet and people from all walks of life will read this and respond, we know who we are, we love each other,  and she didnt want any of what he forced on her. We're doing our best to focus on recovery, but we both know what happened…).

Her boss saw she had a very stressful day as an entry level employee. She had the hardest, most demanding, and degrading job in the kitchen. That particular day, they were under staffed and flooded with customers, she had to pull the work of multliple other people on her own at two dollars more than minimum wage (which isnt anything where were from).

After my fiancees shift ended she just wanted to talk to a coworker (who she thought she could trust), shoot the shit, and  relax before coming home (any resturant workers here know that rush/ pain when your in the weeds and the resturant isnt prepared. You know that feeling as well as you know how much you dont want to bring that stress home with you). Her boss knew she was exausted, stressed, and in a very low place mentally, At the end of her closing shift, he fed her free alcohol until she couldnt react, while she was on meds that you cant mix with alcohol with (BEING HER EMPLOYER, HE KNEW THIS VERY WELL), he separated her from her phone and got her alone, where she made it known that she wasnt feeling well, she openly expressed her need for food and water, but she was fed nothing but more alcohol. The worst happened. After research into this managers personal background, ive found this isnt the first time hes been in the wrong… In fact 2 other women quit in the last 2 months because of this persons behavior. The company and the police cant && || wont get involved and the manager is doing very well (and will continue to do even better after his move to boston at the end of this month) while my fiancee had to leave her job that she depends upon to afford food/ rent/ transportation, all because she was violated… In all our years of work it just becomes more and more clear that sexual harrassment laws are only for the rich. If your a worker at a popular mexican resturant (in the northeastern USA (i bet my bitcoin some of you have eaten here)) and you make less than 20k a year, and you feel uncomfortable / exploited, they will not help. What point is there in these toxic work enviorments if the things we all know are wrong arent taken seirously. How do we make this not happen? We cant be the only people experiencing this! How do we make things right?!

Also, as a side note if anyone wants the rapists / employers info or knows of a place i should send it, ive got it all so DM me.

Tldr: fiancee was raped by boss, she has all the consequences while hes now living great. Why does this happen, and how do we stop it. How do we find justice?!

I understand if if no one reads this, i just had to put it out there. PLEASE EVERYONE STAY SAFE AND ALWAYS SECOND GUESS YOUR HIGHER UPS/ COWORKERS. Im sorry for any syntax, spelling, and or grammer errors. I cant write this without a pannic attack so this is as good as it gets. I will respond to everyone as much as i can, we dont know what were going to get from posting this so respond however, no matter what, itll be more meaningful that the company/ police responce!
