I’m a salaried employee for a home health care company. I’m supposed to work 8am-4pm Monday through Friday in the office. One of our evening employees abruptly quit a 5pm-8pm shift. I’m a Nursing Assistant as well so I was covering this shift after work for 3 weeks UNPAID prior to hiring the employee that just quit. My boss wants me to keep covering this every night after work Monday through Friday until we find someone else and also not fucking pay me or even help cover the gas for the 30 minute drive “bEcUaSe i’M sALaRy” . That’s a 12 hour day for the same pay. My reward for this is I can take a half day on Fridays for a few weeks. So sick of this shit.
