I even offered to come in early so i could leave at noon to go to the services. I was told the new HR policy is immediate family only even in laws do not count and i will be pointed if i dont show up. So ill be missing work tomorrow might just take the rest of the week off with a note from my doctor. How sad is it that someone dies and the company response is oh too bad get in here and make us some money.
