I work for a university and have decided not to reapply for the next academic year (employees have to reapply every year oddly enough). Every single one of my coworkers has to interview next year’s batch of employees. Many of us are interviewing our own replacements. Honestly, it feels demeaning. I don’t feel like I am considered a human at all by my employees. This is just one example of how poorly I’ve been treated this year. Trust me, I have so many stories to share. Thank god I’ll be out of it soon.
