I’m entitled for wanting to quit

I remember I posted a while ago on the advice subreddit asking how I should go about quitting my job that paid me $8/hr for “training”, which ended up being legitimate work, deducted the work t-shirt from my paycheck, and had me work from open to close (9:30am-7:30pm) on my first day with a 30 minute break despite it being a part time position (i’m a full time student). Everyone in that subreddit called me entitled for not being willing to kill myself over a job that pays nothing. I’m so sick of this mindset that people, mostly Americans, have surrounding work life balance. and i’m so thankful for this subreddit full of individuals who think like me. I’m a student, i’m in a band, I have friends and family who require my time, my work will never be a priority for me.
